• Installation link access

  • Click "Add to Chrome"

  • Click "Create a new wallet" on the newly appeared MetaMask start screen

  • Agree to terms and set password

  • Click "Secure my wallet"

  • Click "Reveal Secret Recovery Phrase" when alone

  • Store the 12 words (called seed phrase) that appear and move to the next step

    • If these words are exposed due to hacking, you could lose any assets held in the wallet
    • Typically, write them down with a pen on paper and store the paper in a safe place

  • Fill in the blank spaces with the words

  • The 0x3kfl….k3elel format shown at the top is the address of the personal wallet you just created

  • Access the official website

  • Click "Connect" in the upper right corner

  • Select MetaMask

  • Click confirm in the next MetaMask window

  • Enter nickname, email, and click next

  • Scroll down to the popup that appears upon email confirmation and click confirm

  • If this popup message appears, approve all

  • If you need VPN

    • When not using VPN, press the power button to disconnect
